What is Personal Branding Photography?
Well, a long time ago, when the first person started the first business (I won’t pretend that I know who that was or when that was) a little thing called the Internet was not around.
Businesses were advertised other, less personal ways (think signs and newspapers, and later on, radio and TV!).
“Reviews“ came from word-of-mouth of neighbors and friends. There was no Google, Facebook or Yelp to help you make decisions about who to hire or give your business to.
Now we have a sea of choices, tons of consumer reviews… and the opportunity to get to know (via websites and social media) the person offering their services… all at our fingertips.
Which career coach should you use? And why do you choose the one you hire?
Reviews, of course. But if there’s a face to go along with the excellent reviews AND you feel like you know that person before you hire them… isn’t that a huge plus? It sure is for me!
The fact is, that people love to love the person they’re working with, in addition to their product or service. That’s why so many people in direct sales fill their feeds with photos and videos disclosing personal tidbits, tips and insights into their daily lives (in addition to snippets about their products and services).
These folks have been trained on how to market themselves, and know that staying interesting and in the foreground on social media gives them an edge!
A Personal Branding photo shoot gives you the type of personal content that your potential clients or customers or looking for on your website, as well as on social media, that allows them to get to know you.
I’ve been approached about doing this type of photo shoot by several business owners in the past year, and one of my 2020 resolutions was to make it one of my business offerings and start working with more entrepreneurs!
