“In my dream of dreams, [our wedding] would make Carnival in Italy during the 18th century look like a modest soiree.”
~Lauren
She says this, yet, based on clues about her wedding inspiration and DIY details that I have gleaned from our conversations, I am fully prepared for Lauren’s thoughtfully planned and gorgeously styled wedding to give Carnival a run for its money! {have I piqued your interest? Good~ her wedding photos will reveal all late next month….}
But I digress.
Lauren’s reference to a carnival made my heart skip a beat… because, for years I have wanted to shoot a carnival engagement session (in case my logo does not give it away, I am a little *obsessed* with vintage carnivals and ferris wheels). Lauren was so into the concept, that she even brought a bag full of props to our session… do you see why I love her? {If you love her style as much as I do, you should definitely check out the blog that she and her equally fashionable twin share!}
Last, but not least, a few words about Matt. He was such a good sport, and had zero inhibitions in front of the camera (clearly, same goes for Lauren… I’m just bragging on Matt because most guys I shoot are a little slower to warm up to the camera). He happily climbed in and out of brush, rode carnival rides, and kissed Lauren hundreds of times for me… all with a smile on his face. Gold star for Matt!
I can’t wait for the wedding next month… ♥happy continued planning, you guys ♥
