So guess what happens when you photograph weddings, children, families, etc? Inevitably, you meet and get to know lots of different people all the time (one of the most enjoyable aspects of my job). Occasionally a photo session will just be a tiny window into someone else’s life, and you never see them again. But more often, you end up with a friend, or at the very least, a business relationship. And that was the case with Jonathan.
I photographed Jonathan’s little boy on his one year birthday last year… and fast forward several months, I get an email from Jonathan telling me that he and 2 others have started their own CPA firm, and need photos for their website. Being a small business owner myself, I jumped on the opportunity to play a small role in the marketing/website photography for this new company!
Clearly this is not my usual whimsical wedding or portrait photography, but love to step out of the box and do this kind of work when the opportunity arises. We did lots of formal indoor stuff, but if anyone out there reads my blog on a regular basis, then you know how much I love natural light… so the outdoor portraits are the ones I chose to showcase here.
