Occasionally I have the rare privilege of shooting beach sessions; this, however, was my very first sunrise session at the beach.

It was spectacular.

Not only do you avoid the crowds and the intense heat… the colors of sunrise can only be described as being as intense as a triple decker sorbet ice cream cone.

And that was just the beginning.

This family is part of my family; people I love dearly.

And when my beautiful niece started frolicking with her little brother like there was not a camera in sight, my heart almost melted right out of my body <3
