My studio used to be a big bulky desk plopped in the middle of the room, with shelving accumulating photo props and overflow from a variety of other creative projects behind it. There was a certain charm to working in disarray, but it soon became clear that I needed to upgrade my working space, get organized, and carve out a more pristine consultation area. The most functional element of the new room is the multi-purpose ledge on which I can prop any number of mounted prints, and change out depending on the type of client (bridal, portrait, etc.) I happen to be meeting with. But my new imac (and by new, I mean new as of December… it still feels new!) definitely takes home the gold medal for being my favorite aspect of my new workspace. Seeing my photos on the enormous screen is nothing short of life-altering!
