The old saying, “good things come to those who wait” could not ring truer when it comes to the magical day that finally arrived for Dave and Sabine.

After originally planning for a 2021 Spring wedding, they ultimately made the difficult decision to postpone for a year to allow time for the pandemic to run its course.

If you ask Dave, Sabine or anyone in attendance bearing witness to their effusive love for each other, joy to be united and nothing short of revelry with friends and family at the reception… they will all tell you that it was worth the wait!

One of the highlights of the day was the Bride’s family processing in with traditional Arabic Zaffe drummers, a drumming wedding procession traditional in Sabine’s family’s culture.

It was a jubilant way to kick off the wedding, and set the tone for a night full of energy, fun and celebration!

Another special touch Sabine’s sister’s gift of a live portrait from artist, Maggie Smith Kuhn, who painted the most gorgeous canvas of Sabine and Dave walking among the gardens with the Atlanta Skyline in the background.

Amazingly, Maggie began the painting during the wedding ceremony and completed it before the reception ended; the final painting was breathtaking!

But nothing could top Dave and Sabine’s amazing love story (the real star of the day!), that not only brought them together, but also combined their beautiful families.
