Emma Kate Turns 1 | Marietta Birthday Party Photography

Well, I have been anxiously awaiting the day that I could post images of this absolutely precious little girl’s “Candyland” birthday party.

I say it every year that I have the honor of photographing one of the Bolen-girls’ soirees, and I’ll say it again: it takes a very talented, loving and creative mama to pull off a party of this scale, beauty and attention to detail.

One day these little girls will sit and marvel at the first class shin-digs their mama threw for them… I mean, wow! Diane, you are just an absolute fountain of creative and beautiful ideas!

There was no way to cover every inch of this party without posting at 100+ images, so I just chose my favorite details and portraits from the day to share with you.

From cakes and sweets galore, to a goody-bag bar, to a chocolate fountain, to goony golf, to a candy house, to a face painter… I mean, this party had it all!

And there is no doubt in my mind that Emma Kate enjoyed herself, even at her young age; the smiles say it all.

Big sister may have had to wait a month for her party (btw, can you believe Diane will do this all over again tomorrow? But with a different theme? She is super-mom!!) didn’t miss out on the fun; she donned a special smocked candyland dress, and fully immersed herself in all of the party games and goodies!

And at the end of the party, I was even able to capture a few precious sister moments between the Bolen girls <3
