Nine years ago, I took pictures of these gorgeous kiddos and their mom for the first time.
I am certain of the timing, because I remember being pregnant with my first child at the time!
They were just one year old, and were the very first set of twins I have ever photographed!
Fast forward 9 years, I have had them in front of my camera more years than not, and their extremely cool mom drives them up from Dalton almost yearly for the occasion!
This year we shot mid-morning (it was COLD– Mom said no worries because she had literally knitted hats and scarves for everyone!!! <3) at one of my favorite spots and utilized some gorgeous light and open shade areas that I’ve actually never used in the many times I’ve shot there!
Since Will brought a helmet and cap used in combat, I thought it might be fun to position him on a shaded side of the barn used for storage… for some reason it just went with his vibe!
Then we loved the light and motley+vintage style backdrop so much, we opted to use it for a few other shots as well!
And of course, we had to do some fun and silly shots… leaf throwing is a personal fave! <3
But some of my favorites are the ones that their beautiful mom made her way into… there is just nothing like a mom and her babies (babies are babies at any age!)!
Thanks so much, Beckler Family, for using me again this year!
