What I love more than anything is when parents let their kids be kids during a photo shoot.

Of course, I do occasionally need parents’ help encouraging kiddos to be in the same shot together, or flash the camera at least one smile in unison… but the *real* magic happens when kids are just allowed to be themselves.

Nothing I could instruct is nearly as captivating as what kids do when they are allowed to laugh, explore, run and be silly 🙂

And when that truly amazing parental mindset is combined with some gorgeous folks on a gorgeous day at sunset… well, you get something pretty awesome (see below).
