When I saw that a precious client of mine had a baby right before quarantine, I was so happy… but then my heart, realizing that newborn pictures would be impossible with all of Georgia being discouraged from allowing people into their homes or being in close proximity.
But then, just as many business have adapted and pivoted during these uncertain times, I decided to reach out and see if they would want to do a socially distant newborn session.
They were all about it, and we agreed to meet up at one of my favorite family session locations!
Obviously, this is not my traditional in-home newborn session… where I am very hands on with the infant, wrapping and posing it on my beanbag, while in my client’s home.
Instead, I gave my XL lens a workout and captured Baby Bonavita, her adorable little sister and gorgeous parents, from a very far distance!
And honestly, I may love this style session even more than my usual, because it is more true to life, showing the baby fitting into the family dynamic, not necessarily sleeping or swaddled… just being her beautiful baby self.
This family was so sweet and up for anything, even with two little ones in tow.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to help them capture this time in their lives, even in such unusual circumstances!
Thank you, Bonavita Family, for choosing me to document your family of 4, including the star of the show, precious Baby Bonavita!
