I met up with Anna two weekends ago to celebrate her turning one with a birthday session.

She is one of those babies (ahem, toddlers) that you immediately want to snuggle! She is cuter than a button, and was so sweet and well behaved.

In addition to all of those things, she is also very curious.

She quietly and pensively studied her environment the way a scientist would, when collecting data for experiments. It was precious to observe, and I was happy that I was able to capture a few shots of inquisitive Anna, doing her thing!

But at the sight of a dog, Anna’s scientific concentration was shattered, and she became overwhelmed with happiness. That too was glorious to capture! What a range of emotions this little one has!
