This weekend, one of my best friends in the world was in town from DC. We were acquaintances in undergrad (we had the same major, had many of the same friends and even studied in Italy together, without saying more than a few words to each other!), and then became friends when we were both doing campaign work after college. Then, as fate would have it, she was fundraising for a US Congressional candidate in Athens while I at UGA Law. That was when our friendship really blossomed… we had lots of fun nights sipping wine and decompressing from our stressful lives. That was the last time we lived in the same town, so now I have to savor the few hours I get to spend with her when shes back in Atlanta for work or visiting family. So when she was here on Saturday, I had to snap a few shots as we split a bottle of wine. She was concerned because she had on no makeup and had no idea that I was going to take her picture… but I LOVE her gorgeous, natural look. Makeup is overrated! I miss you my friend – xoxo
