As I may have already mentioned on some buried blog post, I’m pregnant… and am ready to have this baby any minute. The due date is still a good week away, but I’m guessing that he is probably big enough, since on Monday alone I was asked three times by complete strangers if I’m having twins (btw, to spare you from being the next to ask, the answer is NO – lol)! Ah, the sense of humor you have to maintain at all times, as a pregnant woman. But I digress. Since I put 4 projects in the mail yesterday and had a little time on my hands early this afternoon, I decided that I should document my hugeness with another self-portrait (you can see the first one one here). If I have my way, these will be the final photos taken of me before my son makes his debut (…but I do have a sneaky husband who sometimes has other plans!).
Oh, and one last thing. I’ve had some folks ask whether I’m still shooting in my final weeks of pregnancy, and the answer is a resounding YES! Until a doctor tells me that I’m to stay off of my feet, I will relish the fact that I’m still mobile, and continue doing what I love to do. After the baby arrives I’ll take a few weeks off to get my bearings, but after that I’ll start scheduling portrait sessions and bridal consultations again (I’ll begin shooting weddings again in late July – early August… yippee!).
