In the words of the prolific, Ice Cube, “Today was a good day.”
One of my wedding photographer girlfriends happened upon a spread featuring our photos in the Spring 2012 edition of Atlanta Weddings Magazine last night, and texted me a teaser from her smart phone. I thought that the issue would not be hitting stands until March 1, so I was giddy all night and couldn’t wait to go to Barnes & Nobel to purchase my own copy this AM!
It was truly magical seeing the feature in person. It is the first among a string of 10 Atlanta real wedding features, and covers a full two-page spread.
When I think back to my initial meeting with Lauren Lee (the bride who is the subject of said feature, and co-author of the Asian Cajuns blog), I had no idea what gorgeous wedding goodness she would have in store. Now, two lovely friendships (with both Lauren and her sis), 3 Style Me Pretty features (one here, one here and another here– styled by Lauren), a Wedding Chicks feature and an Atlanta Weddings Magazine feature later, I realize just how lucky I am to have met such a creative bride and fabulous friend.
