Though I am known as a family, child and newborn photographer, I have been dabbling in business portraiture for the past few years, and it is something I really enjoy!
So naturally if I enjoy it, I should do more of it, right? Right 🙂
I have also been told more than once by mom clients that they hire me because they love the way THEY look in their family photos… which is a testament to the fact that I am always doing my best to capture the most flattering angles and expressions of adults (even in the midst of chasing toddlers at family sessions)!
And now that many of my clients, friends and colleagues are company executives, small and large business owners, freelancers and other types of professionals, I want to shout from the rooftops that I am the gal who will make their business portraits sparkle!
The main difference between me and other photographers that you (or your company) might hire for photos is that I shoot outdoors (or occasionally indoors in natural light!).
I have shot many a portrait in front of a backdrop, but the truth is that this type of portrait is just not true to my style, and, frankly, is boring to look at (there, I said it!).
Plus, once my clients see the magic I work with a little natural light, they prefer it anyway… it is exquisite!
