Over the years I have had so much fun documenting this beautiful extended family!

The first session I did for the Hanne family, they were just a family of 3.

Then as the years passed, grandparents started joining… sometimes one set, sometimes both… and even a new baby came into the picture!

Now finally for this one, the whole crew came out, including beloved brothers, cousins, etc.

The one thing about orchestrating a session around this many peoples’ schedules is that you are kind of at Mother Nature’s mercy.

So even though the temperature just happened to be in the 30s (YEP, 30s!!), we endured the cold to get some outdoor shots (and how about that snuggled blanket shot of the brothers??), then took things inside and got some gorgeous stuff by window light.
