James turns One | Atlanta Child and Maternity Photographer

I met up with James’s family bright and early on Sunday morning.

James’s mommy and daddy agreed to meet me at 7AM… and yes, I know that sounds unbearable to some folks, but that is one of the prettiest times of day to shoot (also, in August, turns out to be the best way to beat the heat!).

This cute little guy was sleepy at first, but he started to perk up after a few of my song and dance routines 🙂

Note: I will not win any awards for my performances, but somehow I am usually able to get a few smiles from my toddler audience!

At one year old, I have to say that James was one of my least-fussy and agreeable little clients to date.

He sat in one place when asked, did a few crawling performances, responded with smiles to my silliness, and was overall a complete pleasure to work with!

Oh, and I almost forgot… Mom is pregnant with a new little man, due this winter.

She first requested that I frame shots to hide her belly (and I did this for many of the photos below), but she soon agreed to do a few shots that included her beautiful bump, after some urging from her hubby and me.

From most angles you can’t even tell that she is pregnant at all… much less, entering her third trimester!
