WELCOME to Aharon Hill Photography's blog! I'm Aharon, lead photographer. I like to think of this blog as a photo journal, where clients, friends and family can have a peek into my recent portrait sessions and weddings. You'll also get a glimpse into my life with my wonderful husband, Richard, and puppy, Wilson. Feel free to email me at info@aharonhill.com for wedding and portrait package pricing!

Last Thursday I did a commercial project for Northwest Carpets at Barnsley Gardens. I collaborated with the VP of Design and Marketing for concept and styling… and the result makes me happy. Not your run-of-the-mill, stodgy carpet ad, that’s for sure! P.S. These images are the property of Northwest Carpets… so please don’t steal!
Thank goodness for lovely weather again this weekend! We were able to shoot Bora’s bridal photos outside, without a coat… and she didn’t blink an eye when I suggested she eat ice cream in a few of the photos. Btw, can you say flawless beauty?
How excited are we about this lovely new sample? Leather cover, flush mount, and designed by us, we believe this album is the perfect combination of traditional and modern styles. Brides, be sure to inquire about including this lovely album in your wedding collection!
My studio used to be a big bulky desk plopped in the middle of the room, with shelving accumulating photo props and overflow from a variety of other creative projects behind it. There was a certain charm to working in disarray, but it soon became clear that I needed to upgrade my working space, get organized, and carve out a more pristine consultation area. The most functional element of the new room is the multi-purpose ledge on which I can prop any number of mounted prints, and change out depending on the type of client (bridal, portrait, etc.) I happen to be meeting with. But my new imac (and by new, I mean new as of December… it still feels new!) definitely takes home the gold medal for being my favorite aspect of my new workspace. Seeing my photos on the enormous screen is nothing short of life-altering!
