Vice President Joe Biden | Aharon Hill Photography

Yesterday, I was honored to be the Vice President’s photographer!

He was in Atlanta briefly, and I was asked to do a quick shoot featuring him with some of his constituents.

He was very charming and engaging (he even complimented my eyes!).  And at then end, I was able to snag a quick shot with him as well.

Costa Rica | Aharon Hill Photography

Last week, I was far, far away from the office.

I only took pictures when I felt inspired to leave my poolside station, where I could usually be found with a pina colada in one hand, and a book in the other.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, vacation. I miss you.

The highlight of Costa Rica was the deep sea fishing trip. Even though I got a little sea sick, I rallied after the first few hours, and reeled in my first sailfish… all 120 lbs of him!  And then I released him back into his tropical ocean home. Fun times.

Aharon,
These are just beautiful! I especially like the one of Richard on the edge of the water and the ones of you with your big catch!

Eric & Kristin | Puritan Mill Wedding Photographer

Sometimes when you meet a bride, you just click. That is what happened at my first meeting with Kristin– everything from her venue, to her crafty ideas for photos and props, made me so excited to shoot her wedding.

Though I knew she had some special touches planned for her wedding day, little did I know what she had planned for her engagement session!

She brought her wedding date on twine, comment clouds and chalk. So we played with all of the toys she brought… and I am loving how all of her props look in the photos!

But how could I have gone wrong with this gorgeous couple– props or no props, they are beautiful!

Aharon: there are no words — these pictures are amazing; your talent is unbelievable. Thank you so much!

Ghanta Family | Decatur Child Photographer

As a photographer, sometimes you have to roll with the punches. Like when your flip flop breaks mid-session. Ideal? No. But I was lucky, because the trail was very well-maintained, and going barefoot was actually quite enjoyable. I can’t remember the last time I had such a fantastic excuse to ditch my shoes!

And please just check out this gorgeous family… no broken flip flop could stand in the way of my capturing their loveliness!

As if was not already in love with this family, when Vishnu, the oldest of the Ghantas’ sons said, “that is the biggest camera I ever saw,” I was pretty much putty in his hand!

Aharon, these are just beautiful! The boys are just adorable!

Oh, I looooove these! Despite having your feet covered in mud, you did a phenomenal job with these pictures:) You were such a trooper for bearing the elements barefoot!
