Mini Sessions | Atlanta Child Photographer

I love portrait sessions so much.  A portrait session is a rare opportunity to interact with people that you don’t know very well, and get to know them quickly. You learn volumes about their personalities, interests, insecurities and what makes them laugh, as you snap away over the course of an hour and a half (the duration of my standard session.

Maybe it is because I love the full session so much that I have not offered minis before. Mini sessions allow clients to get a few shots to document a milestone, or update a family wall, without the full expense of my normal 1.5 hour session. And it allows me to shoot multiple sessions in the same day. Plus, in this case, it allowed me to photograph several of my Dalton clients I’ve not been able to shoot in a while, since I don’t make it up that way nearly as much, post baby.

Verdict? The photos turned out gorgeous, and I got to spend time with some fabulous families and kiddos. But honestly, I wish I had double the time with each client. But that is just because I loved them all so much, and could have kept shooting each of them indefinitely:)

Here is a sneak peek of some of my favorite images from Saturday.

Luke turns 1 | Atlanta Child Photographer

Baby Luke turned one… so I won’t be seeing him every few months anymore. This was our last of his first year sessions… and as usual, he was a pleasure to photograph.

Thanks for all of the sweet expressions and snuggles, Baby Luke.  I hope to take your picture again very soon!

Bride’s Choice Award 2012 | Aharon Hill Photography | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

Weddings, Wedding Venues
2012 Bride's Choice Awards | Best Wedding Photographers, Wedding Dresses, Wedding Cakes, Wedding Florists, Wedding Planners

This little badge may be small, but it means a lot to this boutique photography business owner!

First, it means that my wedding clients have written some pretty wonderful reviews of my work.  Without consistent stellar reviews from past brides and grooms, I would not have even been considered for this honor.

Second, it means that Wedding Wire, one of the most popular wedding vendor websites, has taken note of my work, and considers it to be in the top 5% of all wedding vendors, throughout the US and Canada!

Third, it gives me a way to convey to wedding clients, that I am not only in the business of making pretty pictures, but also of keeping my clients happy. Good reviews are not based on product alone– it takes a relationship, communication and organization to be a truly good photographer. And the fact that so many of my clients are willing to go on record saying such positive things, makes me believe that I must be doing something right.

Here’s to another year of going above and beyond… and loving me some wedding clients!  MUAH!

xoxo~

Charlie’s 1-Year Session | Atlanta Child Photographer

Charlie is such a beauty.

She was just as lovely to photograph at 6 months… but since then, she has started walking, and has grown not only in height, but also in personality!

I can’t help but think that one day I’ll run into her shopping at Anthropologie… she already has the look, don’t you think?

Thanks for a gorgeous session, Miss Charlie!

Baby Austin at 4 months (+ fur sister) | Atlanta Child Photographer

Handsome little Austin was my first baby client of 2012!  And what a way to kick off the year. With fur sister, Callie, as his sidekick,  it was no time at all until we started making beautiful pictures together

I have a feeling that one day Austin will treasure these moments captured with his furry friend.

Thanks so much for a stunning session!
