If anyone had told me in 2008 that I would have such gorgeous, kind and creative clients in 2011, I would not have believed them. It is an absolute blessing to look back at my 2011 weddings and think about how I grew and thrived in each experience, and I am truly grateful for each one. Though it is sad to say goodbye to 2011, it is exciting to think about what 2012 holds. What themes, dresses, venues will I see? What new planners, florists, bands, and other vendors will I collaborate with? What blogs and publications will feature my images? The future is wide open!
Here is a little review of all the things I’m thankful for that happened in 2011: Aharon Hill Photography was given Wedding Wire’s Bride’s 2011 Choice Award, my work was featured on Style Me Pretty, Style Me Pretty Georgia, Wedding Chicks, the Asian Cajuns and Style Unveiled. I photographed the wedding of local blogger, Lauren Lee, which began a friendship that led to our later collaboration on the Africa-inspired photo shoot ! Finally, I am eternally grateful that I have found the most lovely assistant to work with– Jackelyn. She keeps me organized at weddings, does some gorgeous photography, and even modeled for the Africa shoot (bonus: the rare combo of inner AND outer beauty!)!
