Angela and Justin are the sweetest couple.  During Angela’s father’s toast, he mentioned that Angela and Justin never seemed to let go of each other’s hand… and that was one of the ways he knew their love was for real.  And for the rest of the night, I could not help noticing that whenever they were together, their hands were locked.   I can’t tell you how gratifying it is to see such love and happiness… as a photographer and a human being, it is what I thrive on!

But there is even more to discuss beyond the love that these two share… like how phenomenally gorgeous they are, and what a fun-spirited and creative wedding they threw!

You may have noticed in my post about their engagement photos, that Justin is a hard-core cyclist.  Like, he bikes to and from work… and even goes on bike-cations!  Angela got the bug too, and they spend a lot of time biking together.  Enter, wedding Exhibit A: the bike theme! From the personalized tandem bike cake topper, to their adorable invitations, table cards, bike horns (used for their exit), and tandem bike that they actually made their getaway on (…and yes, they actually biked to their next destination on their wedding night!), the bike theme was dominant throughout their wedding,

But it was not just about bikes on their wedding day.  They wanted Angela’s love of color, and Justin’s hipster personality, to show through.  So Angela chose orange and pink as her wedding colors, and carried them throughout the day.  And Justin chose whimsical orange and white polka dotted ties, and coordinating orange converse sneakers (Angela wore pink ones as part of her getaway ensemble!), as part of the groom and groomsmen’s attire.

Okay, one more thing, and then I’ll stop gushing.  At the reception, tables were identified by locations that had special meaning to Angela and Justin, a card that told why that location had special meaning to them, and pictures of them in each location.  Oh yeah, and they took dance lessons and did a fox trot for their first dance (okay, so that was two things).  Don’t you love these guys?

This wedding could not have been more personal and sweet.  Thanks for choosing me to photograph your truly special day!  xo~ Aharon
